  Call for Papers

Currently, signal processing is a widely used resource in different fields of science, technology, and engineering since it determines the correct interpretation and analysis of such acquired signals and shows the properties of which they are composed. All this to take measures and/or actions that solve a problem and for which it is necessary to perform this method of interpretation.

SIMBig is an important event that has attracted the attention of computer scientists, computer engineers, software engineers and service and application developers around the world. Within this symposium, the special session on Medical Signal and Image Processing (MSIP) will provide a space to bring together researchers and professionals with the aim of discussing current trends and techniques applied to the interpretation of signals and medical images. In this way, this special session requests the sending of theoretical and experimental papers that deal with the analysis of medical signals and images, as well as their applications to real-life problems.

The works received will be evaluated by the members of our program committee. The works that are accepted will be published as part of SIMBig 2017, which will be indexed by DBLP. The best papers may also be published in Springer CCIS Series.

  Paper Submission Guidelines

We would like to thank you in advance for sending your scientific contributions to the first edition of MSIP, as well as giving us the opportunity to show and disseminate the results of your research.
The authors are invited to present original and unpublished research papers and applications for this special session. Full articles should have between 5 and 10 pages (including references, tables, and figures). Papers must be written in English only and must be in PDF format generated following the instructions of the ACL format, available here:
