About SIMBig

SIMBig (International Conference on Information Management and Big Data) is an annual conference founded in 2014 that brings together researchers in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related fields. It is one of Latin America's key academic venues for advancing research in intelligent and data-intensive systems.

Topics Topics of interest include AI, Data Science, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Healthcare Informatics, Semantic Web, Big Data, Biomedical Informatics, and related areas.

SIMBig is part of a broader philanthropic initiative that also includes LASAI (Latin American School of AI). Together, they form part of the SIMBig organization, supporting both scientific research and AI education in Latin America.
